Kingdom Tower (Burj al Mamlakah), earliarly known Mile-High Tower ‎, which is under construction skyscraper at  currently Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Its primary cost is SR4.6 billion (US$1.23 billion).
It is located along the Red Sea at north side of Jeddah will be the centerpiece and first phase of a SR75 billion (US$20 billion) proposed development known as Kingdom City. If it wiil be completed as planned, it will become worlds tallest building. The tower was initially planned to be 1.6 kilometres (1 mi) high; but geology condition was not suitable and decided for 1 km. The design, created for unique structure and look      by American architect Adrian Smith. The creator and leader of the project is Saudi Arabian Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal. Al-Waleed is the chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), the largest company in Saudi Arabia, which is a partner in Jeddah Economic Company (JEC), which was formed in 2009 for the development of Kingdom Tower and City. Reception of the proposal has been highly polarized, receiving high praise from some as a culturally significant icon that will symbolize the nation’s wealth and power, while others question its socioeconomic motives, and forecast that it will have negative financial consequences.
